About Culver City
Culver City is one of Los Angeles most scenic neighborhood’s that is located in western Los Angeles. It is an ideal location to set up a base to discover the city being close to the LAX International Airport, beachside communities like Santa Monica, the opulent neighborhoods of Bel Air and Beverly Hills, the entertainment neighborhood’s of Hollywood and the Downtown LA area.

The Culver City area is one that abounds in the history of Los Angeles legendary film industry. Today Sony Pictures occupies the original site of MGM Studios and you can take a studio tour where this amazing history can be revealed. There is also the Culver Studios which have been operating since 1918 where 13 state of the art sound stages are located.

A thriving arts scene has evolved over the past 2 decades with a large number of galleries setting up on the northern side of Culver City. This has been accompanied by upscale dining with a range of restaurants and gastropubs. The nearby Helms Bakery District is located on the site of site of one of the most famous bakeries in the world and today has been redeveloped into a destination for fine restaurants, retail outlets and designer furniture.
