The Best Things About San Diego

San Diego is underrated as a travel destination.
There is heaps to do in San Diego and much of it escapes the major attraction status associated with some other big overrated cities. Having said that on our last trip to San Diego we spent 2 whole days discovering Balboa Park and its amazing array of museums and gardens. We didn't even get to the zoo on this particular occasion, but that is also well worth a mention.
There are great areas to have a break between visiting the various museums, of which I probably enjoyed the Air and Space Museum the best. Even with 2 whole days probably did not get everything done that we would have liked. Add a day next to you are in San Diego and do some research so you can pick what you want to see in this amazing park.
