About Las Vegas Strip
El Rancho Las Vegas was the first casino resort hotel to be built on the Las Vegas strip in 1941. Since then, Las Vegas strip has become the home to some of the most lavish and opulent casinos, hotels, resorts and shopping arcades in the world.
Although it officially stretches 4.2 mile, it is usually regarded as extending from Stratosphere Casino at its northern end to the Mandalay Bar Resort and the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign at its southern end.
