About Mornington & Northern Peninsula
The Northern region of the Mornington Peninsula is centred on the Township of Mornington which lies on Port Phillip Bay. The area also includes Mount Eliza at its most northern fringe, Mount Marta at its southern edge and Moorooduc on its eastern side. Mornington lies just 10km to the south of Frankston and Melbourne’s on going urban sprawl.
The Esplanade is a scenic road that weaves its way along the coast from Mornington and through the affluent neighbourhood of Mount Martha. The coastal communities provide a large selection of retail and boutique shopping outlets with many designer stores and galleries as well as a range of excellent dining establishments and cafes.
