The Melbourne Park sporting complex plays host to the Australian Tennis Open each year with Rod Laver Arena the main stadium. This stadium is also one of the highest attend entertainment arena’s in the world, hosting numerous significant concerts and events on a regular basis. Along with Rod Laver Arena, the Melbourne Park complex consists of Hisense Arena and Aami Park. These venues are utilised for NRL rugby league, A-League Soccer, Trans-Tasman Netball, Super Rugby Union and many other entertainment and sporting events.
Aside from sport, the Inner Eastern suburbs of Melbourne provide great shopping, dining and nightlife opportunities. Many of these lie along an area surrounding Bridge Road in the suburb of Richmond where factory outlet shopping can be broken up by a coffee or a meal in one of the café’s or restaurants.
