The 4.2-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard South more affectionately known as Las Vegas Strip contains the largest concentration of attractions possibly in the world. Lining both sides of The Strip are the most lavish and spectacular casino resorts many of which are specifically themed with incredible recreations and monuments. Prime examples are The Paris Casino and The Venetian that recreate Paris and Venice respectively and include iconic monuments like the Eifel Tower and the Venetian Canals as part of their facades.
The casinos themselves are attractions and you can spend a great amount of time just walking The Strip, especially at night time when everything comes alive with splashes of neon lights and huge multimedia screens. You can see incredible attractions like the Fountains of Bellagio and the volcano eruption at the Mirage Casino and Resort right from the sidewalk.
Within these grand casino and resorts are all manner of attractions. Nearly all of the venues have theatres where some of the biggest performing acts and stars in the world perform, some as resident acts. The world renowned Cirque du Soleil have numerous shows spread around the Las Vegas strip with specially built theatres to accommodate them.
To add to Las Vegas’s accolades, it currently boasts the world’s largest Ferris Wheel in The High Roller, which at 550-foot-tall provides spectacular aerial views over Las Vegas.
