Sports tragic’s will be in heaven in Downtown Los Angeles with some of the most recognised sporting teams calling this area home. The Los Angeles Dodgers Major League Baseball team plays out of Dodger Stadium in the north of Downtown LA while to the southwest of the Downtown proper area you will find the Staples Center, home to the NBA (Basketball) Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers as well as the NHL (Ice Hockey) Los Angeles Kings.

Downtown Los Angeles also plays host to some of the cities major concert and theatre venue with the Microsoft Theatre located in the LA Live complex. Other notable venues, many instantly recognisable are the architecturally striking Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and the Shrine Auditorium.

You will find plenty of culture throughout the area with a number of museums. The California Science Center has become home to the Space Shuttle Endeavour and you can visit the Los Angeles Natural History Museum, located adjacent and all part of Los Angeles Exposition Park.
