Perhaps no other place in Australia can lay claim to having such a concentration of internationally acclaimed sporting venues than the Inner East suburbs of Melbourne, with the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) standing grandly in the centre. The MCG is home to Australian Rules football during the winter months and International cricket during the summers. Surrounding the hallowed turf of the MCG lie a number of other significant sporting and entertainment venues.

The Melbourne Park sporting complex plays host to the Australian Tennis Open each year with Rod Laver Arena the main stadium. This stadium is also one of the highest attend entertainment arena’s in the world, hosting numerous significant concerts and events on a regular basis. Along with Rod Laver Arena, the Melbourne Park complex consists of Hisense Arena and Aami Park.
