San Diego

Amongst the most notable of San Diego’s attractions are SeaWorld San Diego and San Diego Zoo. Both attractions boast world class facilities and are amongst the most popular attractions in California. San Diego Zoo is recognised as one of the world’s leading zoos and hosts an array of rare and endangered species. SeaWorld San Diego not only has spectacular animal shows, including the Killer Whales, but provides great educational facilities and theme park rides.

There are many notable museums to be discovered in San Diego, not least of which is the USS Midway Museum, a decommissioned aircraft carrier berthed in Downtown San Diego harbor. Balboa Park is the largest urban cultural park in the United States and is home to 17 museums, including the San Diego Air & Space Museum and the San Diego Automotive Museum.

San Diego’s history is reflected at Old Town San Diego, where you will find shops, restaurants and historic buildings showcasing life in original San Diego. The Cabrillo National Monument located at Point Loma designates the point where California was originally discovered in 1542.
