New York City boasts potentially more recognised major attractions than any other city in the world and all within a small area. The majority of the attractions lie in the Manhattan borough of New York City but are evenly spread across its distinct districts.

One of the major congregation of attractions lie in the city’s Midtown districts where you will find Broadway and Times Square. There are around 40 theatres in this region showcasing some of the most recognised productions in arguably the entertainment capital of the world. This region also is home to some of the city’s iconic buildings including the Chrysler Building, GE Building and the Rockefeller Centre.

The Lower Manhattan district is home to many major attractions including Wall Street and the Financial District, the National September 11 Memorial and Battery Park which provides access to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

Some of the best museums and art galleries in the Unites States are found New York City and they include The Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met), American Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
