Built in honor of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, the Lincoln Memorial is a nation monument that sits proudly at the most Western point on Washington’s National Mall looking eastward towards the Capitol.

One of the World’s most recognisable buildings, the neoclassical style United States Capitol Building sits proudly atop Capitol Hill overlooking the National Mall. It is the seat of the United State Congress and offers tours throughout the week.

Washington’s spectacular National Mall stretches for a mile. At its bookends sits the Unite States Capitol at one end and the Lincoln Memorial at the other with the Washington Monument in between and surrounding it are nine world class museums.
