Located in the bustling social district of popular Chapel Street in South Yarra, the Temperance Hotel is ideally situated for local community and business customers. It is serviced by the local tram that runs past the front door.

There are a number of outdoor spaces available. The spacious curbside booths are ideal for enjoying a drink and watching the world pass you by. There is also a rear outdoor space that can cater for small parties or general socializing.

Function Spaces
Whether you are looking to book out a small area or booth, a private dining room or an entire bar space, the Temperance Hotel has got an option available. Up to 90 guests can be accommodated cocktail style in the lavish private upstairs lounge bar. Individual booths can be booked for up to 6 people in the Booth Bar or you can accommodate addition people by booking additional booths or the whole bar area. The rear beer garden is able to cater for up to 60 guests cocktail style.

Entertainment
There is a range of entertainment options available at the Temperance Hotel with both live music & nightclub DJ's. A typical weekend will include live music on Thursday nights & Sunday afternoons with DJ's playing a range of funk, house, disco & classic hits on Friday & Saturday nights until late.

Happy Hours
The Temperance Hotel has regular happy hours Monday to Friday between 4pm and 7pm with a range of reduced prices on beers, wines and spirits. There is also a Sunday Sessions happy hour with a range of $8 drink specials.
