| BEST THING : The Terrace Garden provides elegant buffet dining with good friendly service. The restaurant is situated in the lower level of the Stamford Plaza Hotel and is accessed directly off North Terrace. The standard buffet is a combination of seafood (including oysters, marinated octopus and prawns), hot dishes, cold meats, salads and carvery. The food is a gourmet delight with many types of dishes you would not get in a common buffet, such as deep fried fetta and crumbed mushrooms. There are also a range of sumptuous deserts that cater for all tastes and unlike many buffets, tea and coffee are included. As you would expect, the price is moderately high and we found the drink prices a little on the high side as well, but well worth the money. |
